Flat Roof also known as Skillion Verandahs have a minimum fall to allow water to run off but maintain smooth and clean lines in the design. Flat roof carports can compliment Modern homes or Period homes. The amount of fall can be increased for a striking Modern design or a Heritage home.

Gable or Pitched Roof Verandahs are able to maximise the space provided while still maintaining a sense of height. They provide a cool Outdoor Entertaining Area in summer, or a well protected winter relaxation zone. Our COLORBOND® Corrugated Iron uses Next Generation substraight technology and Thermatech(R)paint technology with solar reflection. BlueScope Steel research tells us that Thermatech® reflects more of the sun’s heat than previous coating formulations. This allows both roofs and homes to stay cooler in summer. Thermatech® acts like added insulation, making it easier for air conditioning to keep homes cool. That’s both comfort and cost savings homeowners can appreciate.

In moderate to hot climates, compared to roofing materials of similar colour with low solar reflectance COLORBOND® steel with Thermatech® can reduce annual cooling energy consumption by up to 20%.

Our experienced Sales team take the guess work out of Council Approval. Alpha Industries uses professional experienced Engineers to qualify the construction of the structures. We can assist you with Council requirements, drawing of plans and obtaining the correct approval at the minimum cost to you.

All of the Alpha Industries Verandahs are fully engineered to satisfy the BCA (Building Code of Australia) and manufactured to meet Australian Standards. Unlike old style timber or wooden frames, we use Galvanised steel for all of our C-section Portal Frames, Purlins and Girts. The Galvanised Steel is all G450 to G550 high tensile steel and meets Australian Standards. We have designs to suit all wind speeds from 28 meters per second up to 41 meters per second.

Alpha Industries average installation waiting period is 17 weeks from council approval. We understand that time is precious and don’t make our customers wait unnecessarily. Our installation lead time is always written on our contracts.
